Services For Seniors
We offer services for elderly individuals and their caregivers.
Frequently, we find that relatives and friends of seniors are unable to
assist with the changes that accompany aging. The services we provide
handle the intimate details of a person's life with discretion and
respect.
Our services for relocation to retirement or assisted living include:
- Planning furniture layout and storage use for new
living space

When you downsize from your current home to a smaller
place, what will you take with you? What will fit? We can help
you plan your new living space and use your most cherished
furnishings as the space permits. And we can plan for your
storage needs as well. We will work with you to use your new
space wisely and efficiently.

- Distributing unwanted furnishings and belongings to family and
friends, as desired

As we determine the items that will not fit in your new
space, we can arrange to have these items distributed amongst
your family and friends. You can rest easy knowing that these
details will be handled for you. |
- Selling/donating any remaining furnishings and belongings

For those items that are not moved or given to your family
and friends, we will attempt to sell, using antique consignment
stores, yard sales, Craig's List, etc. For those items that are
not sold, we can donate to the charity of your choice or arrange
for trash pickup. |
- Arranging for move and setup of your belongings in the new
living space

Once it is time to move, we can arrange for the moving
company and ensure that your belongings are arranged as planned.
When you step into your new home, you will be stepping into the
familiar. |
- Configuring computer, phone, cable, etc. at the new location
| |
In your new home, we can work with the residential
management to provide phone, internet access, TV, etc.

- Notifying doctors, businesses, family and friends of new address
and phone number

We can notify your primary business contacts (including the
government, magazine subscriptions, etc) of your new address. We
will also notify all family and friends of your new address and
phone number.

Our services for day-to-day needs include:
- Paying bills, balancing checkbooks, and
reconciling financial information

We will sort through your bills, weeding out those that are
not legitimate, and write out checks. All you have to do is sign
the checks. We will balance your checkbook and reconcile your
expeditures with your financial institutions. We can keep any
family members updated on your financial status. |
- Managing insurance paperwork, medical records and prescription
information

Sorting through the insurance bills, medical records, lab
results, and prescription information can be daunting. We can
ensure that your medical bills and insurance payments are
correct and work with them to sort out any errors. We will
review your lab test orders and ensure that all lab tests have
occurred. |
- Making/rescheduling appointments and arranging for
transportation, as necessary

We can work with your medical and personal businesses to
set up appointments. If your residential living situation does
not arrange for transportation, we will ensure that you have
transportation to make it to your appointments. |
- Arranging for groceries, meals and medical supplies, as well as
household chores such as cleaning, laundry, yard work, etc.

Depending on your residential living situation, you may be
required to get your own food, clothing and medical supplies, as
well as take care of your own household. We can arrange to have
these necessities provided.
